Down and Out in the Northwest

Three sources have said the Mt. Airy Times/Express and the Germantown Courier have folded. PhillyBlog.com has a report from Brian Rudnick, a correspondent with the papers, that says the same. There's a vacuum, and nature abhors them.

JRC also folded a batch of weeklies in New York State, reports indicate.

UPDATE: The Daily News has a story on the Courier, confirming the death of the papers.
